My first DJ gig was at the opening for the "Locals Only" show at the BE HERE NOW Gallery. I've been collecting 45s for a few years, got my second Stanton ST-150 back in March, and have an old Radio Shack mixer. I've been DJing at home for months, but I've been wanting to take the show on the road. A low key event, like the art opening, was the perfect opportunity for me!
The show brought together a great group of awesome Athens artists. Special thanks to Steven and Dan for making the gallery a reality, and allowing me an opportunity to DJ. I had a great time spinning the records and visiting with old and new friends and talking about records with my old friend Tobin.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0Bb70nB2S2XVk6_N1pRSnpq0PDUpBGEBpBX79OmdAHaBnU9_y0XW3angEIKi2DZHU2PVpBvnwvMvCGt5N3v6ujX_FQ_VK744FAwImwLVCZ4flL92uefuIwnN-_1dBlPfxrMPpPBp_pA8/s400/lunardja.jpg)
